JESSICA PALMER

Founder

Jess started Palmer's Pet Services in 2014 as a mobile dog grooming business. The business went from strength to strength and pretty soon it was evident that a shop was needed in order to accommodate all of her amazing customers. Now with the help of her sister Danielle, she is so excited to welcome you to Palmer's Dog Grooming Salon!

Jess is fully qualified and holds a L3 national diploma in dog grooming,  a national diploma in animal management as well as being certified in canine first aid.

Prior to dog grooming Jess was a zoo keeper at Woburn Safari Park and has worked with all manner of animals from sea lions to monkeys so your dogs are in experienced hands!

After becoming a dog groomer she has gone on to do further courses in dealing with difficult dogs and has competed in the Rookie English Groomers challenge winning second place with one of her clients dogs, Mochi!

Danielle Palmer

Owner

Whilst pursuing a career in the performing arts industry, Danielle has always been passionate about dogs and has had a very keen interest in Palmer's Pet Services since it launched in 2014.

Danielle often assisted Jessica with bathing and drying the dogs whilst she was between her performing contracts. Her interest in the dog grooming industry grew and grew and therefore in 2020, she decided to take the plunge and train at Groomarts Academy where she gained her level 3 national diploma in dog grooming.

As joint owner of Palmer's Dog Grooming, Danielle is so excited to meet all of you and to get to know your dogs!

Our newest member of the team! Amy has a National Diploma in Animal Management and is currently working towards her level 2 Dog Grooming qualification. Her artistic flare and attention to detail is ideal for this role, plus she absolutely adores spending her time surrounded by dogs! Who doesn't?!

Wilma Palmer

Brand Ambassador

Wilma is our ambassador, dont be fooled by her size. This pint size mini dachshund is the boss here!

Wilma enjoys going to her agility classes and causing trouble wherever she goes.

We apologise in advance for the barking!

Isla Palmer

Brand Ambassador

Introducing the lovely Isla. She's a 11 year old labrador and a sweetheart. Isla is a little nervous of new people but is slowly coming out of her shell.

Jess adopted her 4 years ago, she used to compete in field trial competitions and is a very well trained gun dog!

Vivian Palmer

Brand Ambassador

Our youngest and craziest team member! Vivian is a standard poodle and is still a pup, she has enormous amounts of energy which she expresses by barking and running around the salon. She is desperate to play with everyone she meets, apologies for the barking, she likes to join her sister Wilma with greeting everyone!

Hally Palmer

Brand Ambassador

Hally is a very special girl.

She is a 11 year old labrador who was born at the Palmer residence. You may notice that the top of her head is white, this is becuase Hally had treatment for a brain tumour in 2019 which has caused a loss of pigment in her hair.

She has been amazing and has taken everything in her stride, we couldn't be more proud of her!
